The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi conducts the JAC 10th Compartmental Examination every year for students who are unable to pass one or more subjects in the annual Class 10 (Matric) board examination. The compartmental examination provides students with an opportunity to clear their failed subjects without waiting for the next academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

Students can appear in the JAC 10th Compartmental Examination if they satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Jharkhand Academic Council.

  • Students who failed in one or more subjects in the JAC Class 10 Annual Examination 2026.
  • Students must apply through their respective schools.
  • The application must be submitted within the prescribed deadline.

Application Fee

The examination fee will be collected by the respective schools as per the fee structure prescribed by the Jharkhand Academic Council. Students are advised to contact their schools for complete fee details.
